Lion Smyth consults with you determine what you want to achieve, creates your painting using fine oils on canvas, and will frame and install to suit the art, location and client.
Another Baltimore native, with a degree in Fine Arts from Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA), Patrick is well known for his highly realistic images and loose brush strokes.
Becky lives in Baltimore, and is a 2004 graduate of MICA, with a degree in Fine Art.
Lion Smyth partners with other studios to be able to create just about anything that can be imaged. The Magma Build Studios team consists of artists and skilled trades. Ron and Erin Smyth worked with Magma on creating a 24k boombox sculpture to the artist's specifications.
Direct Dimensions is another partner that works with LionSmyth to create amazing artworks for a wide variety of clients, from private to government to institutional. Direct Dimensions, Inc. provide solutions for a wide range of fields from design, engineering, and manufacturing to art, sculpture, and architecture. They specialize in the unique application of advanced 3D scanning and imaging systems and the conversion of raw ‘point-cloud’ data into high-resolution/high-accuracy 3D computer CAD models for subsequent downstream manufacturing, analysis, and visualization applications. Notably, LionSmyth artists worked with Direct Dimenions to create a replica of "The Winged Genius", one of two large alabaster and gypsum reliefs from the Temple-Palace
complex of Ashurnasirpal II in Nimrud, commissioned by Christie's prior to its sale at auction.
Dave is very talented with line work and has both worked in the technical drawing field as well as with his own freelance art. He studied at the Joe Kubert School of Cartoon and Graphic Art, and has worked for Marvel Comics.
Tim has been working with Ron for almost 20 years and is known for his powerful monumental sculptures, often incorporating found industrial objects for inspiration.
